Day 1

Nairobi → Amboseli National Park (250 km / 4–5 hrs)

Your family safari begins in Nairobi, where we warmly welcome you at the airport before driving south toward Amboseli — the home of Africa’s giants. Arrive in time for lunch and settle into your camp with stunning views of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

This afternoon, head out for your first game drive through Amboseli’s golden plains and marshlands, photographing elephants, giraffes, zebras, and the breathtaking silhouette of Kili as the sun sets.

Day 2

Full-Day Amboseli Game Viewing

pend the day exploring Amboseli’s famous swamps and open plains. With Kilimanjaro towering above you, this is one of the best places in Africa to witness free-roaming elephant families up close. Enjoy a packed lunch in the wild before continuing your search for cheetahs, buffalo, birds, and other wildlife.

In the afternoon, return to camp for a little relaxation before heading out for another scenic game drive as the light softens.

Day 3

Amboseli → Lake Naivasha (5–6 hrs drive)

After breakfast, begin your journey toward the Great Rift Valley. Stop in Nairobi for a delicious lunch at Carnivore or Tamarind, then enjoy a photo stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint overlooking Mount Longonot.

Arrive at Lake Naivasha in the afternoon. You may choose to enjoy an optional boat ride among hippos and birdlife or relax by the pool as your family unwinds for the next day’s adventures.

Naivasha Activities → Lake Nakuru National Park (2 hrs drive)

Continue to Hell’s Gate National Park (optional), one of Kenya’s few parks where cycling, hiking, and walking are allowed. After lunch, drive to Lake Nakuru and enjoy a wildlife-filled game drive en route to your lodge inside the park.
